A DJI portable camera is a compact camera device made by DJI designed for smooth and stabilized video recording, commonly used for vlogging, filmmaking, travel, and content creation. Unlike drones, these devices are easy to carry and often include built-in gimbals to reduce shake and produce cinematic footage. Popular models include the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for compact everyday filming, the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro for action and outdoor use, and portable stabilizers like the DJI OM 6 and DJI RS 4 for smartphones and professional cameras.

Absolutely! The drone is compact and lightweight, making it perfect for your adventures, big or small.
No, our equipment is not waterproof or water resistant and should not be flown over any body of water or other type of reflective surface. Ignoring this warning and flying the drone over water anyways will result in the drone plummeting to a watery death, along with your security deposit. Not to worry though! You can still capture great footage and photos with the body of water in front of or behind you!

No experience is necessary! The drone takes off and lands right in your hand, and it has pre-programmed flight paths for hands-free operation. If you prefer more control, you can switch to Manual mode using your mobile device. The DJI App also offers beginner tutorials to help new users learn the basics.

To download your drone media, you can either pop out the microSD card and use a card reader for the fastest transfer to your computer, plug the drone directly into your computer using a USB-C cable, or use the QuickTransfer feature in the DJI Fly app to send the files wirelessly straight to your smartphone.

The DJI apps requires a smartphone with a system that is either: iOS 12.1 or above, or Android 9.0 or above. This system requirement is subject to change as technology updates
DJI drones rely primarily on microSD cards for storage, with maximum capacities typically supporting 256GB or 512GB cards. Some high-end models, like the Mavic 3 Cine, feature 1TB internal SSD storage, while others (like the Mini 4 Pro) offer limited built-in storage (e.g., 42GB). Most models require UHS-I Speed Grade 3 microSD cards for optimal 4K recording.

Yes. Modern DJI drones like the Mini 4 Pro, Mini 3 Pro, and Air 3 feature a rotating gimbal that captures “True Vertical” content in full resolution. For other models, you can record in high-resolution horizontal mode and use on-screen framing guides to crop the footage into a vertical 9:16 aspect ratio during the editing process.
